· APF 10 rated disposable respirator with Cool Worx handling

· APF 1000 rated respirator during Cool Worx spraying. Nu-Calgon recommends 3M Powerflow Face Mounted PAPR; 3M product number 6900PF.

· Dermal protection during Cool Worx spraying (paint coveralls)

Coil Cleaner

Cleaner choice based on specific coil situation:

o Tri-Pow’r HD (4371-88)

o Nu-Brite (4291-08)

· Sprayer choice:

o Nu-Calgon Coil Gun (4774-0) and garden hose

o Nu-Calgon Poly sprayer and garden hose/nozzle sprayer

· Power Blower

(Optional: Facilitates quick dry for cleaning and Cool Worx application on same day approach)

Supplies

· Outdoor Painters Masking Tape (two-inch width)

· Pre-Tape Masking Film (combined tape/plastic sheeting to protect equipment)

· Wire brush/rust converter (where applicable to address rust areas before Cool Worx application)

· Dragon Towels (4162-01)

· Dragon Wipes (4162-75)

· Drop Cloth

· Cardboard (to test initial spray pattern)

· Small bucket to capture spray during cleaning

· Powder adsorbent to adsorb water in clean-up

· Tools to remove applicable equipment panels

· Cool Worx

Sprayer Recommendations

Small Jobs

· Preferred: Airless Sprayer Types: Graco TrueCoat 360 (electric) or Graco Utra Handheld (battery) for sprayer provides best maneuverability at any angle

· Alternative: Low cost HVLP Type: Wagner Flexio sprayer for easy coil application that require little sprayer maneuverability. Not recommended for larger jobs or hard to reach coil locations.

Medium Jobs

· Preferred: Titan CapSpray X115 Capliner System, six-stage turbine HVLP sprayer. Use #2 needle, medium paint flow setting, maximum airflow setting on gun/machine for best paint atomization.

System provides good paint atomization for deeper/tighter coils, system mobility between jobs. Capliner system provide simple/easy clean-up.

Large Jobs

· Preferred: Air-Assisted Airless Graco Triton Spray System, 1.4 mm nozzle

· Alternative: Compressed Air System

o 15 gallon tank (minimum), oilless compressor system

o 1.5 mm nozzle

o Air pressure: 50-80 psi
